When it comes to art for your walls, do you get frustrated looking for the perfect one? I know I do! We moved into our home almost 4 years ago. And, I must confess we still have a lot blank space on our walls. I’m horrible when it comes to deciding on wall art. I don’t like generic images that have been printed and slapped into a cheap looking frame. It used to not mind as much, I had a style that was eclectic towards country. But so much style choices are available now and all those country pieces I had clash with our home architecture. It’s has a European, Tuscan vibe to it. So I went searching for unique ways I could make art that fit our home and with my desire to stay unique. That’s when I found Canvas on the Cheap. They were nice enough to allow me to partner with them to share this review in exchange for a sample art piece.
Art for Your Walls Just Got Easier
Many family like us have tons of photos they have taken of vacations, celebrations, favorite scenery and day to day with family members. My husband has been keeping all our images digitally for a few years, plus we have boxes of printed photos. Plus, he’s developing his photography hobby and has photographed some beautiful nature scenes of Western Tennessee where we live. But the problem with digital photos or printed ones, too, is that you can’t enjoy them everyday. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to have 100’s of images on our walls. That would be way over done! But there’s some special ones that are worth turning into quality canvas art pieces.
Choosing the Right Image
When Canvas on the Cheap offered to turn one of our images into canvas art, we began looking through photos. That’s when I remembered about some wonderful photos my husband took of our daughter the last time we visited Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It just before we about to move from Colorado due to a job transfer. We loved living in Colorado Springs and enjoying all the gorgeous scenery like the rock formations there. So it made a lot of sense to turn one of those images into canvas art so we can enjoy that view everyday.
When you’re choosing a photo, make sure it’s a quality image. For example, you wouldn’t want to start with a small printed 3×4″ print and try to use it for a large canvas. We made sure our image was the original size our camera created. A quality camera (and many of the newer phones) take quality high pixel images. Luckily the image we picked didn’t need any touch ups. But if your’s does, you should fix any imperfections before you upload to your order on Canvas on the Cheap.
Ordering was super easy! All you have to do is select “get started” on the home page, choose the image from your computer or other digital device, select the size you want it created as, and fill in your mailing address and payment information.
Fast Delivery & Beautiful Art Quality
Our order arrived in 4 days safely packaged to avoid any damage. The canvas looks wonderful!!! The colors are vivid and true. The canvas is well made and wrapped well on the frame. It included a basic photo hanger on the back. I’m sure we’ll be enjoying this canvas picture for years to come.
I was very impressed with Canvas on the Cheap quality of service and product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a printing service to create personal art canvases with their digital photos. I’m already thinking of the next photos I want to order as canvas prints. Keep a watch for their specials to save on your order.
